The King of Spades, Alfred F. Jones, had not always been unable to hear things. It had started when he was crowned King and his inability slowly had gotten worse. Nobody seemed to pay attention to it either; considering the young King had learned to read and understand lip movement making him a lip-reader, to anyone he seemed normal. That is until he was told that another royal member would be joining, a person who would help rule the kingdom by his side. With every King there is a Queen. And for the first time he would meet the person that he would be wed to.
