Dave Strider, now falling into a deep Depression, believes he has nothing to live for. Locking himself in his room and crying have become two of his few hobbies, and when he isn't alone, moping in his room, he's talking to Karkat Vantas. Karkat has been the only thing keeping him sane... and alive. But, there's something that Dave is completely oblivious to: Karkat has been in love with him for quite some time, and has yet to express how he truly feels. Not before long, Dave slowly begins to realize that maybe, just maybe, being more than friends is an option...

Karkat Vantas, 17 years old, has been in an abusive relationship with his manipulative "lover" Gamzee Makara for almost 3 years..
