High school student Emma thought senior year would be unremarkable until she meets her new neighbor and classmate Joe. She soon discovers he has otherworldly powers. He confides that he's an alien from another planet, much more advanced than Earth. Most humans are unaware of their existence due to their ability to manipulate time. Joe informs her that her father was the King of their planet, which makes her half-human/half-alien, or a hybrid, and the next in line to be Queen. He has been assigned to protect and bring her back to their planet where she will be coronated as Queen. Without her, the universe will be on a path toward destruction. All of Earth could be wiped out without her leadership. Emma's senior year is about to get much more remarkable indeed.
