I lost all track of time as I lay there in agony. Why hadn’t anyone come looking for me? I sensed a change in the burning, and then slowly the burning seemed to retract from my fingers and toes. Everything was clear as crystal! I could see that my cell was a small room around seven feet by five feet with the table I was laying on smack dab in the middle. A sudden need to escape overcame me and I went straight to the door. I grasped the handle and yanked, hard. The door ripped out of the wall. Amazed with my new found strength I set the door down and put it back in place after I had stepped out. How did this happen? Before I even finished the thought, I knew.
