Excerpt from the story: Running. That's what I was doing. From what you ask me. From wolves. They've been chasing me for a while now. The sound of the wolves howls and the sight of two of them came into view. As one tried to jump onto me, I swerved and then climbed onto a tree. All the wolves surrounded the tree, growling and jumping up trying to get to me. One of the wolves jumped up high enough to the branch that I'm on. I hissed an clawed at him, hitting his snout. The wolf whimpered from the claw mark I left him and growled at me. Then they all went quiet and looked behind them. I followed their gaze. That's when I seen him. The alpha of the pack in his intimidating wolf form. He growled at the other wolves, and they all left. I was born into a very strong pack which had the beliefs of only the strong can survive and the weak will perish. Well I lived in my pack for the first two years of my life until it turns out I am blind. One small thing one big problem, for my pack that is. It wasn't a problem for me tho. Despite being blind in a way I am not blind. Well this is my story of how I became who I am today.(This is my first werewolf book so plz don't judge too harshly. Lucy was born with the ability to see what's in people's hearts, every emotion. Love, hate, sadness, anger, jealousy, sometimes even their past. She can even see what's in her parent's hearts. Lucy could see love in her mom's heart, but not with her father. Not after her mother's death. It's not like her father abused her, he just hated seeing her. And since he felt that way, she left. Ever since then Lucy has hated this ability. It never crossed Lucy's mind to tell anyone about this ability Lucy has. So she never told anyone because she was afraid people would hate her for looking into people's privacy. She would just keep it a secret. Now Lucy has joined a junior high all on her own, how will it go for Lucy and her ability to look inside people's heart like glass?

Death is a touchy concept. Especially when it's carried out by another human being. When we think of assassin, we narrow it down to heartless murderers who do dirty deeds for money. Lucy Heartfilia was born into a blood line of natural killers on both her mother and father's side. Basically bred for the assassination business- she is trained to become a dangerous weapon. The one thing no one was prepared for though, was her terrible sense of humor and her disgust at the thought of working under a gang like those before her. Lucy is simply a teenager- trying to live life to the fullest while working as an assassin, and what better way to do it then adding a little comedic relief to the dark concept of death. Inappropriately spontaneous doesn't even begin to explain the rambunctious eighteen year old with the soul of a toddler. But when an equally immature and dangerous pyro by the name of Natsu Dragneel moves to the neighborhood on gang business- it results in the equivalent of mixing drugs with alcohol in the teenage body. Wild. Unpredictable. And hilariously embarrassing.
