AND I'd just like to clarify, whilst this story is set using the DCAMU version of the characters and continues from The Judas Contract, it differs in many ways. The thing is, this was never supposed to happen. Him feeling. Damian had been taught by his mother to never show emotion. His big brother had taught him that emotion didn't make him weak; it was the best part of him. Damian isn't used to feeling any type of emotion; certainly not grief. So what happens when he suddenly has to deal with this emotion? Will it overwhelm him? How will he react? Will his best friend be there for him? Will his friendship turn into something more? ....sorry I'm not very good at descriptions. This is just a disclaimer that I don't own the DC characters, but the plot is completely mine. ? Some of the story might not follow along completely to the comics or movies, so just bear with me!

Damian was raised to never feel affection for others. Raven was raised to supress every emotion she felt. When they grow closer, trouble starts. (Damian is 16 when the book starts, Raven is 17)

Damian Wayne doesn't understand all this fuss about falling in love. In fact, it's annoying him. All the girls at school keep bothering him, but they're all pretentious and shallow. At home, it's not any better. Children keep running around and interrupting him whenever he's busy with something. When a peculiar girl with a mysterious past comes into their life, Damian is thankful for the distraction. She is quiet, and she doesn't annoy him like everyone else. But she also seems to have her own demons, and for the first time in his life, Damian has found someone who understands him. As they face the demons that haunt her, Damian is forced to face his own demons. And in the process, Damian finally begins to understand what his brothers are all feeling.
