Based on a true story Eleven-year-old Quinn Sage lived a happy life as a small town Georgia girl. She had her loving parents and brother to care for her, and friends came by the dozen. But then everything changes. Quinn becomes mute, and no longer has a family. She's completely alone. Ben and Chelsea Brooke are adoptive parents of seven kids and godparents of two. But what happens when they have to step up as godparents, and it's only for one of the children? Will this couple and their kids be able to save Quinn, or is she too far gone? ⚠️ trigger warning ⚠️ mention of rape, abuse, attempted suicide, mention of suicide, smoking, and other parts of this story may be too disturbing for audiences. Life is pretty simple, and in any normal circumstance, it can be quite predictable. But the thing is...waking up one day with rainbow glowing eyes is NOT normal...I would personally consider it the exact opposite of 'normal' Samantha always knew that her luxurious living conditions weren't exactly the 'norm', but besides that and the fact she was adopted, she always thought of herself as ordinary. Although, as I stated earlier, waking up one day with rainbow glowing eyes is NOT normal...and that is a fact that Samantha is forced to learn quickly when a group of mysterious new kids come to town kissing the ground she walks on.... Sometimes life isn't very predictable.... After all, who could have ever imagined themselves fighting for a race of creatures who DON'T exist and maybe finding love along the way? Well I can tell you one thing, Samantha sure didn't... I was not planning on fishing this story, but because of quarantine I have reread and edited this story a few times and I am feeling inspired. I can't promise anything, but I am going to try and finish the book. I know nobody is reading this, but it will be fun to look back at this in a few years...
