Over the year, he fell deeper and deeper into depression. Mikaela knew Yuichiro was happy with his new friends, so he didn't talk to his brother to try to fix things. To try to fix the rift that was growing between them. One day, Mikaela couldn't take it anymore and tried to take his own life, but was saved by his brother.
