Fireheart had told Brackenpaw that he had a bellyache, and needed to go to Yellowfang. Once he was done with Yellowfang, he slipped out of camp to go find Graystripe. What he found made him feel horrible. What Graystripe said, ended their friendship until Graystripe did something only to ruin their friendship more. Graystripe realized he had feelings for his ex best friend. He didn't know what to do, because Fireheart clearly had feelings for Sandstorm. As you know (probably) this story takes a different path. In Fire and Ice Graystripe ignores Fireheart but in this one Fireheart ignores Graystripe dndn
