Astrid is a Sophomore in high-school, living in the historic city of Berk. Her grades are failing and she has two options: find a tutor and possibly destroy her reputation as the most popular girl in school, or be assigned one and never play a school sport again. Little does Astrid know, that an option three is going to present itself soon. One day on her way home from school a handsome but gimpy stranger runs out of an alley and knocks her over. This stranger is quickly followed by three men in black suits who are asking if anyone has seen the boy. A week later Astrid manages to locate the boy and she confronts him about his identity. Turns out this gimpy boy's name is Hiccup, and he is under the constant protection of the FBI. See, Hiccup is a technological genius and the worlds greatest hacker, he is being hunted by Gang Lords so that they may posses his genius and use it for evil purposes. That's not even mentioning the dragon he is protecting after it was thawed out of an iceberg. Maybe this Genius is just what Astrid needs, and maybe he needs her just as much. Who else could successfully keep him out of trouble? Certainly not the FBI!

Hayden Horrendous Haddock is a business man, CEO of his fathers company. He's all business...unless his office blinds are closed. Astrid's learned that as a signal. She's his executive assistant, but he doesn't treat her like it. She hates her job but she'll do what ever she needs to to put food on the table. And if that means being a doormat, then so be it. She just has to put Crystal through school so she doesn't have to get a job like this, in order to survive. Once Crystal moves out, then Astrid can quit. She'll have done her job. Hayden has no idea of her living situation. He thinks it's like anyone else's. But he couldn't be more wrong. He probably wouldn't be that wrong if anyone knew anything about her besides her name. They don't even know her birthday for office parties. When Hayden finds out about Astrid's unflattering date-crasher, he scares her with his next moves. Another possible title is How Often Do People Get What They Want?...Pretty Often.
