Holly DuPont spent the majority of her life wondering what things would be like if John Lennon had not died on that fateful night in December of 1980. As an adult working for the CIA, she suddenly finds herself involved in a secret project in which her lifelong wonderings become plausible. I published a story called Love From Hamburg, which was episodes from George's and the other Beatles' first trip to Hamburg. Some people suggested that it could be extended, so I have. Some of this story was in the previous one, but most is new and, I hope, shows how George grew and changed out in the fleshpots of Hamburg!

Why, then, does he find himself drawn into the arms of another woman? **story contains mature content** This story is loosely based around the rumors of a secret relationship between John Lennon and Alma Cogan, a British singer known as 'the girl with the laugh in her voice.' She was the highest-paid British female entertainer of the 1950s and became close with the Beatles as their fame grew. There is not a ton of information out there regarding the possible affair, but Cynthia Lennon spoke about it many, many years later. Learning about some of the details she gave made me want to explore the possibilities and add my own twist. While this story is loosely based on actual people and events, none of it should taken as anything more than pure fiction. I do not own the Beatles (no matter how hard I wish!) or their likenesses.
