A 15 year old boy and his mother move from town to town, city to city, to keep up with his fathers travel job. One day, a move lands them out in Western Tennessee. On the first day at school a girl catches his eye, staring him down in math. They lock eyes for a split second, then her eyes dart away. As he stands to leave after the bell a note is left on his desk. "Meet me behind the bleachers, 6:00 tonight."
