AU. A few months after Kanan joined Hera & Chopper on the Ghost they get a choice between two missions that force Kanan to deal with his past. When married couple, Kanan and Hera keep having miscarriages, the small family decides adoption is their best option. At an orphanage located at the border of their city lives a thirteen years old orphan, Ezra. All three people with empty hearts, longing for family. One more closed off than the others but nether the less, still lonely. But maybe with a little love and care, he'll realize just how much they care for him.... Before his past catches up to him.
