Someone is desperate to steal it and Comharrachadh Beatha is the perfect opportunity as most of the Guardians are on vacation enjoying the Tournament of Heroes where the Realms best Warriors come together on peaceful terms to battle each other. A philosophical story which was written to be questioned, posing an alternative view of existence, one which differs from that of most scientific and theological ideologies, you've just got to have a point of view. It's not rocket science, it's the output of an overactive ageing mind and is not intended as a legitimate challenge to any existing doctrine, but as a means of freeing us, from the concepts of retribution and redemption and heaven or hell. It does this by creating an argument that it is the residence of the soul, the biological organism (a biological machine) which is flawed. This, in turn, suggests that the survival instinct is such a flaw and that it is principally responsible for the actions of the organism, not the soul. This hypothesis then leads to the question, why should the soul be subject to retribution and redemption?
