The anxious side had a major mishap with the creative one during one of Thomas' videos. That happened again the next day, and the day after, and again. He denies to himself that this is happening, that he's somehow repeating the same, horrible day again and again. As much as he hopes tomorrow will come, it never does. When he finally cracks, ready to accept his fate, he finds a way to make tomorrow come. Though it's going to be harder than he thought. After a couple years with this new side, Roman takes a liking to him while also theorizing why he was the way he is. Soon enough, Patton and Roman guess he's a vampire.
