Newt has been in the glade for as long as he can remember. He's seen as the kind, helpful second in command who always has a smile, but what lies beneath is a dark secret. Will the new greenie Thomas be able to help Newt before it's too late? Will he be able to see past Newts smile and get to know the secret?

As Thomas wakes up from saving Minho in the last city he thinks of everything that has happened and about the people he lost especially this one person he wish he could of told his true feelings to but maybe he still can ? But he soon finds out he has adapted something new in him can he control it ?

In the middle of the night, Newt shows up at the Safe Haven. Everyone accepts him with open hearts and arms- except for one person in particular. The one who believes deep in his heart that he could have saved Newt's life comes face to face with him yet again. But who brought him back and what were their intentions? (I wrote this because I did NOT like Thomas and Newt's ending. I just had to rewrite it so that they were together & Newt wasn't freaking dead. Lol, enjoy!)
