Each part corresponds with the events for each season. Alyssa has spent three years in the skybox, and now she has been sent to the earth along with 99 others (and a stowaway Bellamy Blake) to see if the earth is survivable. Some of the people in the skybox are petty thieves, others were there for assault. Only a few were there for murder. Alyssa is one of them. Will they survive?

A fix-it story for those of you who couldn't handle Cole's death in the original series. (like me) Having the rarest of all power--the ability to heal--Sheena was subjected to the mercy of the scientists in Leda Corp Research Center, until a mysterious man saved her. The problem is, will she be able to save him in return? +++ Setting in the universe of The Darkest Minds, this is a story about an original character's journey of learning how to be brave, with the helps from some friends (also original characters). Some of the book characters would show up mostly in later parts of the story (except for one, who showed up as soon as the first chapter), and the story itself is tightly knitted to the events in The Darkest Minds book series, so one do need to read them in order to enjoy this. Also, even though I tried my best to not contradict the canon, there are still some fundamental elements in this story that has to go against the grain. (i.e. Cole's death) You might notice that the chapter titles are all Beatles songs, but I actually didn't put them there as a playlist; in other words, you don't have to listen to the title song while reading the chapter. "-So try it" Grayson says suddenly to Brea. "Try what?" Her eyebrow raises with intrigue. "You said you can snap your fingers and turn your feelings off... like a light switch, you said, just like that?! So, fall in love with me and then one day...just... stop. and move on," Brea was taken aback by his words, thinking there's no way he was serious. Unimpressed, she gets up to leave and laughs at him saying,"you're crazy." But as she shakes her head, on her way to the door, he grabs her arm and says,"no, I'm serious, B. If you're telling the truth that you have great communication skills and don't get clingy or jealous, then what's the worst that could happen?" She lets out nothing but honesty,"I never said I had great communication skills." "It was implied. So what do you say?" He puts his hand out for her to shake and agree on the proposal. She looks at it then joins his hand and asks,"how long?" "A year," Grayson suggests easily. She disagrees which prompts him to ask her,"how long does it take you to say you love someone?" Brea hesitates to answer, knowing she's never been in love before. "Six months, take it or leave it," they agree.
