When Isabella (Isa) Moreno is accepted into a highly-competitive medical program for recent high school grads, she couldn't be happier. With the change of a full scholarship at the end of the program, it's her first (and only) chance to prove to her doubtful parents that she can make it in the medical field. However, she gets much more than she bargains for when she accidentally finds herself in the room of none other than Javier Delaurentis, an extremely dangerous, and way too sexy, Latin Kings gang member. Someone who will destroy all of her dreams if she gets too close, and someone she knows only wants to use her. The more she tries to stay away from Javi, the more she becomes entangled in his messy, dangerous life, realizing there might be more to his illness that he's letting on. A romance with Javi will ruin everything she's worked so hard for- and she might just let him.

The Bloody Benders were a real serial killing family in the 1870's who ran an Inn along a well-traveled Western trail to lure victims into their lethal trap. This historical fiction novella delves into two of the Bender's most notorious victims- a father and his infant daughter, as well as the Benders themselves. After all, even the darkest individuals have a story.

Cystic Fibrosis. Those were the two words that seemed to define Madelyn Winters' life from the moment she was born. Hospital stays, pills, and breathing treatments were all a part of her normal. Madelyn knew that she had a life expectancy label on her, but she didn't realize just how close it was getting to her expiration date. And with her lung function at a dangerously low 35%, the search for an organ donor became frantic. Madelyn began to realize that life was coming to its end. And fast. Breanne Adams met Madelyn on the playground of their elementary school in second grade. She didn't know that Madelyn was sick; all she knew was that the girl needed a friend to swing with. From that day forward, Breanne and Madelyn became an inseparable duo. Breanne didn't care that Madelyn had a terminal disease. She just knew that she was a one of a kind human being. The two girls were more than best friends; they were sisters. And they aren't gonna let CF, nor anything else, get in the way of their friendship.
