Hanahaki Disease-- an illness born from one sided love, the victim coughs up petals and flowers. It may be removed with surgery, but the feelings go away with the petals. It can also be cured if love is requited. He moves around from place to place, foster home to foster home, in search for somewhere that provides no distraction to him. He moves to a beach side town in hope that it would be calm, but the events there will make him face his greatest fears and grow.

"Bonding" is achieved by biting into a scent gland hard enough to draw blood and eventually scar, it ties two people together mentally, physically, and emotionally. Like, a really extreme marriage. But is a sin if one of the partners doesn't have consent or have been courted. But sometimes tradition is Broken.

While traveling into a different reality everyone's personalities get swapped, and Keith and Lance end up swapping with each other.

Ever since Keith had left to join the blade of mamora Lance had been upset. He's horrible at ignoring his feelings and now that he's trying to forget it's all coming back. He's in love with Keith. The feelings can't be ignored. The flowers in his lungs won't let them be. He has to choose to except them, or die a horrible death.
