Hermione and Draco live different lives. After the war, Hermione became a therapist for war victims. Struggling with her own past and present, her own home life far from peaceful, she finds her escape while at work and feels comfort being able to bring others peace. Meanwhile, Draco lives his life riddled with nightmares having flashbacks to his time at war. Being betrothed soon after the demise of the Dark Lord was not his plan but more of an arraignment between others. Always wanting to get away from the Manor to seek peace. He is constantly struggling to keep himself in line. Picking China patterns while having restless nights can really bring you down, especially if your past is still haunting you. All rights reserved. Since turning 25, Hermione's friends and family seem to believe that she is sad and lonely, mostly due to some of them already being settled down. Because of this though, they all seem bound and determined to help her with her love life. It has almost become a competition for them to find her the one they think is her perfect other half. Thus Hermione keeps being pushed into one blind date after another. Its a bit like kissing frogs to find her prince. Tedious and overwhelming. The cherry on top however is that Draco Malfoy seems to keep appearing out of no where, especially on her more disastrous dates!

Hermione never thought that she'd end up pregnant and alone, but it seems that she is now stuck in such a predicament. She also never thought that Draco Malfoy(now a Healer and changed man) would offer to marry her and adopt -through magic- her child. This is a mutually beneficial arrangement, so why is she finding herself falling for the handsome blonde? And why is she kissing him!

Hermione and Draco are forced into close proximity when they are made Head Prefects that share a common room. Hermione wants nothing more than to finish school without any hiccups, but the presence of an ex-death eater is proving to complicate things. *Actively undergoing a rewrite to get rid of POVs. I apologize in the mean time for any confusing jumps between chapters or discrepancies within the plot.*

Pesky Death Eaters and Horcrux hunting changed Hermione's plans for her 7th year dramatically, but after the defeat of the Dark Lord and the take down of most of his followers, Hermione and her friends decide to play out their 7th year as it should have been, and to have a year free of drama. This is also the same plan of one of their enemies, Draco Malfoy. His life hadn't been a bunch of laughs either during the war, and after he and his mother were set free, with Harry Potter's plea they were somewhat innocent, Draco wanted a chance to try one more year of school, also Drama free. So what happens when the two find out they are the school's new Head Prefects? Hermione can see something different about her former enemy - he's completely changed. Is it just an act? Or has Draco Malfoy, Hogwarts badass actually changed? Will they get along now he seems different? Or will they be throwing hexes at each other every night in their common room? Only time will tell. The war is over. Everyone has to retake the previous year at Hogwarts. Hermione Granger is made Head Girl and Draco Malfoy is made Head Boy. Tensions rise between the two. Ron starts acting very different, which takes it's toil on Hermione and Ron's relationship. What could be causing his sudden attitude change?
