I tried in vain to fight him off, his closeness intoxicating me. He kept grasping moving parts of my body, attempting to tame my wrath. This only seemed to amuse him, though. And that only added to the fire inside me. He finally clutched both of my wrists, my elbows bent as he rested my balled fists against his heaving chest, his lips brushing against mine. I jerked my head to the side, avoiding both his moist lips and yearning gaze. "I love you." He whispered against my cheek, slightly tilting his head. "Do you hate me?" I clenched my jaw tightly at his words and glared deep into his blue orbs. By that I gave him his answer. He searched my eyes for a few seconds. A small smirk appeared on his face. "Good."

{book 1} ✓ - ❝ Once upon a time… Wait, are you shitting me? This story doesn’t start like this. On the contrary! This story is about a girl who thought had enough of men but, of course, her words backfired on her face. Yeah, this girl is me. An average girl… Okay, not so average, more insane, I would say. Whatever. This is my story and if you want to know what happened, keep reading, because it all started with an eating contest. ❞

[THE SEQUEL IS UP NOW, IT'S CALLED BIRDS] Maddie was just an ordinary girl. She worked in a music shop, and she sang at a pub to save some money. And then she met him. Let's say he wasn't as ordinary, because you can't say that singing in big stadiums and attending awards ceremonies is ordinary at all. I guess that's why she couldn't stand him. She thought he was just the typical arrogant kind of boy who thought he got it all. But there was some other reason why she didn't want him to get any closer to her, something he didn't know. However, if there's something I'm certain of, is that they weren't as different as they thought. They both loved music with passion, they both had strong personalities. And the most important thing of all, they both needed someone to keep them warm.
