Twenty-two-year-old Gloria Dodson has a weird hobby: stalking Centurions, the superheroes who protect her home city. Then she gets a chance to join them. A stalk gone wrong gives her powers of her own. But Slasher, a veteran Centurion, thinks Gloria's far too naïve to join the team. He proposes a test: if Gloria can't catch Harpy, a mass-murdering psychopath, in two weeks, she'll have to hang up her cape for good. Gloria assumes Slasher wants her to handcuff Harpy and hand him off to the police. Turns out, Slasher's dropped his share of dead criminals in the harbor, a revelation that nearly convinces Gloria to quit the team. But when Harpy kills a man in front of her, she realizes it's her responsibility to stop him . . . either by taking Slasher's lethal advice, or using her stalking skills to do things her own way. I'll be adding new parts on Tuesday and Saturday!

I live in a pretty screwed up world. I mean, we all do, but mine's a little more screwed up than your average American city. First off, I have that cliché sort of crush on my best friend. The second part of that cliché is that he's interested in every other girl but me. Second, we have superheroes. A lot of them. Flying everywhere like annoying insects, teleporting like it doesn't scare the crap out of the rest of us, defeating bad guys like they're the new Mr. Incredible. The whole works. The third thing is, I'm one of those superheroes. My name is Kiera Knight, but the rest of the world knows me as Shadow. _________________________ Kiera Knight has been saving Cryptic City from her nemesis, Blaze, for two years now. As soon as she thinks she's got him under control, the wildfire spreads chaos through both of her lives-as Shadow and Kiera. But she soon finds out that masks can't hide every secret, and she might have been helping guard a secret that could put Cryptic City in ruins. "I hate supervillains. But after being a superhero, I think I'd prefer to be a supervillain now." _________________________ (I seriously didn't even think of Keira Knightley when I made up her name. Just thought I'd let you know.)

"Who are you?" the supervillain asks. His breathless voice is surprisingly soft. I slam my hands on either side of him, leaning in so close my nose touches his mask. I'm the taller one. "It's 'Please Don't Kick My Sorry Butt,' but you can call me 'Too late, I Already Did.' " And I have to admit, that one I'm a little too proud of. ***Hey, hey! Now a Wattpad featured story!*** The superheroes are gone. For as long as Monet can remember, a league of superheroes has guarded her city. They were the citizens' idols, guardians, and best friends. Then, only months ago, those same heroes poofed, leaving the population at the mercy of a supervillain known as 'Masquerade.' As teen reporter and self-proclaimed defender of truth, justice, and the American way, Monet Jackson vows to do anything to find the heroes. And that "anything," unfortunately, includes taking a dip in a vat of toxic chemicals, being fired, and being hunted by Masquerade himself. But someone's gotta protect the city, and she might as well write a blog about it. *** WHAT'S INSIDE: 1 Kick-butt heroine +1 Love Triangle... or ...Love Quadrilateral... or...
