It was the 24th Century. Rules had been set down. The law was iron. The world was now known as Pan. They lived in beautiful neighbourhoods with flourishing trees, emerald green grass, and sparkling water. It was utopia. There were the Pes, the rest of the population, forced to scrabble on the ground, grovel and beg, fight and kill for their lives. They starved to death, died of sicknesses and were left to rot. They lived in ruins, broken structures, in darkness. It was dystopia. Until the Creators came. They rose to power, a poor group from Pes, battling their way to the top. They took control of the government and in the height of their fame; released a virus that wiped out the whole of the human population. Only not quite. Those who remained of the Surs died out in the streets, unable to survive in the harsh conditions. Those who remained of the Pes formed gangs, making violence the answer.
