Trust me, Gerard Way is okay. He has a great group of friends, he just got some new additions to his comic book collection, and best of all, his band has just released their debut album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. Sure, he doesn't quite know where he stands with Frank, his impossibly beautiful rhythm guitarist, but he feels hopeful that Frank might just like him back. Then, Gerard's future self, from the far-off year of 2019, arrives with a grave warning. Frank will die in a bus crash in 2016 unless the two of them team up to stop it from happening. As he recruits his various selves from different eras to join the mission, Gerard crashes his own wedding, gets hunted down by a mysterious organization called the Watch, falls even more in love with Frank, and desperately hopes that he can be what tomorrow needs. Frank was the new kid, the new American kid, in a British boarding school and that wasn't the hardest part. Frank wished that was the hardest part. Being the new kid was easy, but being assigned to the room of the most infamous boy in the school - who would hate you purely for existing - is a lot harder. British Private Boarding school was something Frank was just not prepared for. He didn't realise he was going to live with an OCD psycho doting after a dead person. But he had one simple rule which would make everything a little easier, or more would stop it being even harder. Just don't befriend Gerard Way. One rule; but is it easy to follow? That's what Frank was to find out.

Frank Iero has a schedule. He gets beat up mercilessly and a boy comes in, as if by supernatural fate, and cleans him up before the next class. He's the most gentle thing in his life, or so he thinks. Frank has these dreams that haunt him every day. They're violent, bloody dreams. Some of them he enjoys, others set his teeth on edge. The two get along quite well, even though their personalities are practically exact opposites. Gerard is a talented magician, responsible for much of the success of the famous Envision Destiny cruise ship. He's also one of those people. You know, one of those people who just seem to take up all the space they come across with their arrogance and confidence. You wouldn't wanna touch their personality with a 10-foot pole, but still people admire them. That is beyond Frank. Working behind the cruise ship bars and seeing Gerard pretty much every day, he can't understand what's so great about him. Besides, everybody else doesn't have to deal with his snide remarks and rude comments. Because if there's one thing Gerard seems to love, it's the act of constantly pestering Frank.
