When Will is told he has to go to high school, he doesn't have much of an opinion. Go there, protect some students, hang out with people he barely knew, be over with it. Fine, whatever. A HoO High School AU, focusing on Will Solace and Nico Di Angelo. Nico and Will are forced to be partners in a Performing Arts project - Will is excited, but Nico is nervous. Nico is the "scary" kid in high school. He is covered in tattoos, has piercings peppering his features, and wears nothing but punk, black clothes. He shows no emotion to anyone but his sister, Hazel, and he has no friends at school- not that he tries to make any. Will solace is popular, happy, and always overly optimistic. He has a million friends. He knows almost everyone is his grade and gets along with nearly everyone he meets. He loves doing volunteer work in the hospital and playing volleyball and basketball. He experiences the "typical high school experience". Until he doesn't. When Will and Nico meet, everything changes for both boys. I'm in the process of rewriting this story because this turned out really badly in my opinion so be aware of that while you read :). Having schizophrenia was a pain sometimes, but it didn't mean Nico was crazy, even if the voices told him he was. The real ones, and the ones in his mind. The only person he could ever consider a friend would be his psychologist (aka his therapist), Jenny, who he had grown a strong connection with over the 4 years he had been going to see her. He didn't trust anyone else. Nico knew that no one would look past it all like she does. That is, until Will Solace enters the picture, the happy go lucky college student striving to be a therapist. What could go wrong? . This is a solangelo fan fiction and will have swearing, mental illnesses and there may be triggering moments that will have warnings. I will hopefully capture Nico's point of view accurately, and what he his going through, but I have never experienced schizophrenia so it may not be perfect. . Kinda going through editing? Nico di Angelo is a forensic pathologist, well, training to be one. He spends his days examining dead bodies and learning how they died. Pretty cool, right? Will Solace is training to be a nurse. His goal is to prevent as many bodies from needing to be examined as possible. He wanted to save people. When these two move in together, many adventures follow, because honestly, what else can you expect when two complete opposites try to coexist?
