Sequel to Discovering Love! Dan is only just now aware of the fact that he loves Phil Lester, but at the wrong moment, because Phil hates him. He makes that very clear, in the way he successfully ignores Dan. But Dan is desperate, because the longer he and Phil are separated, the more his heart is breaking, and pretty soon he won't be able to deal with it. Does he have what it takes to make Phil love him again? Or will he always be hated by the boy with the blue eyes.

Dan is a firm believer that love doesn't exist. Not in adults, and definitely not in high school. He detests silly love stories and petty relationships, posing as 'love', and nothing could possibly change his mind in that. But when new student Phil takes an intrest in Dan, he can't deny that he's interested in the boy. His bubbly personality and hopeless romantic ways draw Dan in.....and might just change his mind in the thoughts of love.

Dan Howell is an insomniac....who's scared of the dark. Only a little bit. One late night (or early morning), he decides to venture out and explore London at its quietest. He meets Phil Lester at an all-night coffee shop, and the two quickly become friends. As the friendship continues to grow, Dan has to begin facing his issues, and his feelings for Phil.

Phil Lester is 'special', having the power to manipulate water with just a flick of his hand. Because of this, he was transferred into the special school, Dahlia Academy, which was built to harbor students with magical abilities. "No. The less you care, the lonelier you are." - In a world where people have the ability to flip an emotions switch, many people lack feelings and sympathy in general- including Dan Howell after a tragedy strikes and he can't take it. However, he meets Phil Lester, the outgoing flirt with too big of a heart to handle. The two become close, and Dan soon realizes that even with his switch off, he can't deny that Phil is slowly reaching to turn it back on, and Dan can't seem to push his hand away.

The doctors nicknamed it 'blurry face', and there's absolutely nothing they can do about it; Dan will have to live without faces. That is, until he meets Phil Lester - the 'bad boy' of Dan's new school - who's face is strangely visible to Dan; much to Dan's wonder and Phil's distaste.
