THE FAE ARE STEALING HEARTS [Wattpad Picks: Editors' Choice] Many moons ago, a deal was struck with the fae by a young woman who wished to save her lover's life. Years later, Adalyn is called upon to repay the debt and tumbles into a realm entirely apart from her own. Lost within a sinister fae city, she must learn to live in a place where fates can be foretold, names are kept as secrets, and bandits can steal the beating heart from her chest. "Science fiction writers foresee the inevitable, and although problems and catastrophes may be inevitable, solutions are not." - Isaac Asimov This piece is intended as a bit of a Help guide, a point of reference and hopefully something people will enjoy, as ultimately all of you will have different experiences reading and writing science fiction, and writing in general. If nothing else, I hope it inspires you to try your hand at writing Science Fiction if you haven't already.

PREVIOUSLY TITLED 'BLOOD THRONE' { Wattys 2018 'The Originals' winner } Shadows trail Rhaessa wherever she goes. Whether that's her magic or past, she can't seem to escape them. Wrestled into a corner with only one way out, she embarks on a journey to uncover the truths of her vicious kingdom. Varyn walks a very fine line in the royal courts, finding herself at the mercy of the King's whims, where one wrong move can have terrible consequences. When a string of murders is committed inside the castle walls, the time is ticking for her to put a stop to it before chaos erupts. Two women are forced to uncover the blood, bones, and treachery that built their kingdom and line the throne. The stakes could be their lives or worse. Much, much worse. War? That doesn't quite cover it. TW: violence, implied SA, and mentions of suicide/depression. This story is heavy and has some dark themes. *** Disclaimer: although I made the cover myself, I do not claim to have made any of the beautiful art used on it. If it's yours please dm for credit or removal!***

*Completed* "I'm no Sea Heiress," I exclaimed. "I'm just one of Triton's warriors. I was sent here to salvage my overthrown kingdom, not become queen of this one." Soren's eyes trailed over me for a thoughtful second, before he suggested, "What if you were sent to do both?" Eighteen-year-old Ailith is a warrior of the overthrown Sea Kingdom, trained by Triton himself and sent to Land to seek help in order to reclaim the Sea Kingdom. However, when she arrives on Land and meets the two sons of Zeus, she learns that her presence is all part of a thousand-years old prophecy that claims she and Zeus's handsome son, Soren, King of the Land, are destined to fall in love. Ailith is careful as she stays at King Soren's court, trying to gather her resources to reclaim her overthrown kingdom. However, at the same time, she is trying to deal with her growing feelings for Soren, and the fact that she could--possibly--be Triton's Heiress: the Heiress of the Sea.
