Katsuki Bakugou was born and raised in The Outskirts, a slum city of thousands upon thousands of people living in poverty, abandoned and ignored by the royal family for decades. Hundreds are on the brink of starvation, and with winter closing in, the risk of hypothermia and death is higher than ever. Angered by the fact that as citizens the slum-dwellers aren't given what they rightfully deserve as human beings, Katsuki decides to take matters into his own hands and take what they should be given to begin with, and the only sure place that has plenty of what they need is the royal palace itself. **IN THE PROCESS OF REWRITING** Katsuki Bakugo is a rebel, a loose canon a boy who will do anything to ensure his survival. That's the only way to describe the short tempered boy. After being caught in an unfortunate incident of theft he was thrown into a cold cell, fully prepared to sit in the miserable place until he were to rot, knowing that, despite his stubbornness, he had no chance of escaping. Kirishima Eijirou is much like Bakugo, a boy who isn't quite in the greatest of financial situations. Much different to our rebel Bakugo, Kirishima is kind- which he would claim to be manliness- and very much is an opposite in personality to Katsuki. Despite this, Kirishima can only do his best in the world he lives in and after a series of very unlucky accidents he is to- thrown in a cell. The land the two boys live in is unkind and ruled by a cruel King, one who gets pleasure by watching others pain. In a fit of cruelty this King throws the boys headfirst into a chain of fights for survival. The two must do their best to survive, and do, but what happens when the King noticed the friendship- and maybe more- blossoming between the boys. Will Bakugo live up to his standards of doing whatever it takes to survive or will he refuse? ----- Disclaimer- I do not own either of these characters or some of the characters within this story. Low self-esteem wasn't something Eijirou Kirishima liked to admit to having. It wasn't manly. It wasn't strong. It certainly wasn't heroic, but after struggling with his crippling self-doubt for a lifetime things finally seem to be turning around when he's accepted into UA, a miracle he refuses to give himself credit for. Katuski Bakugou refuses to allow himself to be weak enough to show his own low self-image. His frantic drive to be the best - and the only best - is manic and self destructive, so when he gets into UA and is anything but the top student he finds his explosive attitude worse than normal. Somehow, when these two boys met - drawn together as though by forces outside of the realm of the natural - they both seem to find themselves healing from their own damage.

UA was a college that only few could get into, and those few were the best of the best and it was Bakugou Katsuki's goal to get into it. He was pushing himself everyday to get that damn scholarship, he needed it. But what Bakugou didn't know is the scholarship also came with a free annoying 'friend' that was way too cute.

Boarding school is bullshit. High School is bullshit, and Bakugou Katsuki wants nothing to do with it. Doesn't give a shit about grades or homework or any of that crap, and is more than tired of the damn principal breathing down his neck every second of the day. And to add a cherry on top of a the shit sundae that is high school, he gets reassigned rooms and ends up with a way-too-fucking enthusiastic Hair-for-Brains idiot who's probably got the biggest, dumbest smile he's ever seen. Of-fucking-course. ~ Kirishima's always been happy to meet people and make new friends. Needless to say, he's ecstatic when he's informed that he's <i>finally</i> getting assigned a roommate after a month of living alone in a dorm room. He's more than happy to welcome his new roommate with a smile and help him out with anything he needs.
