Kellin Quinn is pretty self absorbed. He absolutely adores himself and assumes that everyone else does too. Or at least, in his opinion everyone should, anyway. But in reality, everyone that meets Kellin basically hates his guts and views him as a conceited asshole. He treats people badly, he's rude and he judges people purely on their looks. He doesn't listen to anybody and he makes up his own rules. Until one day he crosses an elderly gypsy woman who puts a curse on him that will turn his entire world upside down.

Kellin is a mess. He's sad, tired, and swears too much. He copes by making self deprecating jokes and with his loud sarcastic humour. Vic is new and has no idea what he is getting himself into when he tries becoming friends with the mess that is Kellin Quinn. He befriends his new roommate, Vic Fuentes, a hand washing enthusiast that is stuck on trying to remember his own past. When Kellin decides to help him recover his forgotten childhood they stumble together into a turmoil of unexpected memories and events they never imagined. After getting kicked out of home and living on the streets with no way of getting money, Kellin decides to become a prostitute. Vic, the owner of an underground prostitution agency takes it upon himself to train Kellin into being skilled sex worker, but keeping feelings separated from the task at hand proves to be more difficult than either of them thought.

Kellin and Vic have been together for quite a while. When Kellin becomes pregnant, desperate measures are taken to ensure the safety of both mother and child. Past mistakes lead to major roadblocks, and phenomenon that chill those involved straight to the bone.
