Clove is just like any other girl in Distict Two. Her world revolves around the Hunger Games that is until she reaches an age where she can join the academy. With her world quickly changing and Hunger Games getting closer and closer, will Clove make it through another year or will she have to fight to stay alive?

Cato and Clove know each other almost better than they know themselves. They understand each other better than anyone. Clove is reaped for the 74th Hunger Game and Cato, her boyfriend volunteers to protect her. Clove is hiding a secret from her parents, the famous Brutus and Enobaria, the other tributes, the Capitol, and Cato himself. What if that secret is a baby, Cato's baby? Follow Cato in Clove on their journey in the Capitol before the games and in the arena. Can all three of them survive? Or will the Games or the mysterious girl on fire, best them?
