A complete reimagining of my old stories, starting with the first book. These are based on Rainimator's "Fractures" Minecraft series, picking up right after "Hard Pill to Swallow." With the addition of my own characters, this will divert from canon, but exist within that universe. So enjoy, as I attempt to improve on what has been the most popular series I've made.

The Sons of Jacob began recruiting young men from online communities who identified as "involuntary celibates," promising them fertile wives in exchange for their loyalty and service to their army. When they came to collect these wives, Gilead realized they didn't have women they considered disposable enough to marry these vile and violent men. The Gray Dawn was a small-scale indoctrination program similar to the Handmaid program that filled this unique need for Gilead during the period when American citizens were being integrated into Gilead's stratified social caste system. The Gray Dawn program selected women who were "pure" and likely to be fertile but had been raised in other "heretical" Christian sects. They were spared execution or slavery by being pressured to become converts to the state religion, and after completing the indoctrination program, were forcibly married to pacify those men. The author of this memoir was one of these survivors.
