They're now both 24 and they haven't talked for a year and not seen each other for 5 years. Finn is engaged to Quinn Fabray back in Lima while Rachel is single in New York City. Rachel loves him while Finn 'loves' Quinn. She has to go back to Lima to let him see how much she's changed and make him rediscover his feelings for her that he had when they were younger.
