Now that I look back on this, it makes me cringe (just because I wrote it). Most of my opinions here have changed drastically, but regardless, I'm not going to delete it because people have seemed to enjoy it, and hey, it's amusing to look back on. When Sophia and her mom move cross country to Maryland she must enroll into a new middle school. Considering that she is entering in the middle of middle school, in a school where people have been friends for decades presents a challenge. Sophia has never been truly, and actually happy since what happened three years ago. This changes once she meets Ashton. Just when things are looking up for Sophia, her world begins to crumble. Sophia starts to experience symptoms of depression, muscle weakness, tremors in her hands, and vertigo. And she is diagnosed with a life threatening disease.
