The Stony Brook School was a boarding school in New York, George Washington was the Headmaster and was very fatherly to all of his students. Another parental figure to the students was the Caretaker Hercules Mulligan. Of course every school has at least one group of trouble makers. Stony Brook had a trio, Washington referred to the three as the 'Tornado Trio'. The Tornado Trio was John Laurens, Marquis de Lafayette, and Alexander Hamilton, they caused so many fights it was a surprise they hadn't been sent home yet. Washington had his reason for not sending the boys home, he felt like he was their father at the school, he couldn't send them home without feeling like he sent his own children away.
