I had to write a story about peace with a given prompt for school. So here it is, multiple characters finding peace at different times. Enjoy.

Helen Dabrowski is 14 years old in 1939 and she lives in California. She loves her life, everything about it actually. He family, friends, and everything in between. Until two years later when Pearl Harbor gets attacked, her father and oldest brother gets sent to help fight World War Two. She misses them terribly, but her brother only sends letters to everyone but her. Has he forgotten about her? Or does he simple not want to talk to her? Or did she do something that he now hates her for it? Read more to find out!
