[Complete] Then he slowly turned around to face the horrified heroes. His bandages were bleeding through, leaving his wrists dripping with crimson red; staining the floor at his feet. The heroes all stumbled into defensive stance by instinct, but their hearts beat frantically. Spider-Man, despite his ripped bandages and reopened wounds, took another step forward, then let loose another howl; but didn't attack. He moved lightning fast onto the ceiling, and into one of the vents high up on the wall. And just like that, he was gone. ____________________________ When S.H.I.E.L.D Academy is attacked by an known enemy, Spider-Man and both his teammates (fellow students), and the Avengers inhale a mysterious toxic gas. Later, the heroes with a animal DNA (or genetics) start mutating and turning feral. S.H.I.E.L.D is forced to contain them in the abandoned S.H.I.E.L.D Academy while they search for a cure. But they discover the horrifying reality that the insane, and wild heroes are getting smarter, and they don't want to get out. The Avengers, Nick Fury, as well as the teen heroes of S.H.I.E.L.D Academy are forced to team up with a group of common villains to try and beat this new threat. Author's notes: This is just my take the Spider-Man origin story. Much in the same way the original Spider-Man movie could be Sam Raimi's take on the story or the Spectacular Spider-man TV show could be another, this is my own (hopefully) original take. Also please note that while Dr. Connors appears in the first chapter The Lizard is not the villain in this story. He's really here as an Easter Egg for now. Anyway, without further ado, I present my take on the Spider-Man story. Enjoy!

Peter Parker's parents died in a plane crash. Peter got his abilities when he was bitten by a spider. Peter Parker is innocent. But would if everything happened in not such an innocent way? Would if he got his abilities when he was captured by HYDRA? Would if he was experimented on and when he finally escaped HYDRA, he wasn't the "friendly neighborhood Spider-man" we all know him as? An AU-ish short story collection I wrote for a contest once. (The Amazing Spider-Man)

Gwen Stacy, 17, is the daughter of George Stacy, the NYPD captain. She is one of the brightest pupils at Midtown Science High School. She is admired by more than she knows, especially by Peter Parker, a smart, young, good-looking photographer in her class. After they formally introduce each other, it seems as though Peter follows Gwen around almost everywhere she goes. She is yet to discover that more than one thing is at play here after Parker's brief visit to where she works at Oscorp.

It's that time of year when things start to get alot crazy. And for Peter Parker, it's gonna get even crazier. It's winter, and everything will change...and it all starts with a Villain named Doom.

Peter had returned to his "normal" existence, post lizard, and everything was going fine. That is, until the Avengers got mixed up in his life, resulting in consequences Peter had not predicted. Now he's in for a whole whirlwind of trouble. No slash, not really a "superfamily," either.

Fifteen year old Peter Parker is going through a lot. He's not popular, he's a science nerd, he get bullied, and he is going through puberty. But after getting bit by a spider, his life is going to change.... FOREVER!!
