Welcome to Wickedly Sweet, where each bite is sinfully delicious. Noa Baudet has always longed to open her own specialist cupcake shop. So, when an opportunity arises at her favourite bakery in her hometown, Noa ditches her tailored suits for a flour dusted apron. The only problem? Wickedly Sweet is owned by her arch-rival's grandmother. Daan Booker doesn't have time for pink-haired dreamers. Even if that annoying little laugh of hers has ingrained itself in his brain and kept him wondering about the woman that vanished from his life all those years ago. He shouldn't care about the only woman who resisted his charms and challenged him. He has a boss to impress and a bakery to liquidate. With a promotion on the line, Daan finds himself telling a lie to his old-school boss. A lie that puts Noa Baudet not only in his life, but on his arm like the sweet-tart candy she is. A fake relationship between sworn rivals goes about as well as one could hope, and mixing business with pleasure leaves Daan and Noa in more than a sticky mess. It risks turning Noa's sweet dream sour as everything she wants gets tied up in Daan as he not only binds her hands with this agreement, but maybe even her heart. *** Warning: rated MATURE for sexual content and strong language. + TW mention of pregnancy loss and death. ***

"what're you doing?" "it's a pinkie promise" Aloura laughed lightly, grabbing his bruised hand and prying his pinkie from his locked fists. Her heart almost dropping at the sight of a small tattoo on his forearm. Evil incised into his skin, with two horns resting above the words. She stared at it for a moment, before shaking her thoughts away. "Now what?" he raises and eyebrow as his eyes lock with Aloura's. "You wrap it around mine" Aloura's gaze fell back onto their hands. Elias continued to watch her, and Aloura could feel her hands tremble from the nerves. His gaze almost burnt her, but she refused to meet it. "Just like that" she grins, gesturing to their now locked pinkies. "Now the promise is sealed in." Aloura's voice begins to falter. Elias' eyes fall to Aloura's lips. She licks them, and his eyes darken. Although they'd already kissed, Aloura found her knees beginning to weaken, and the oxygen around them no longer enough for two. Aloura's eyes flicker between Elias' and they stay like that for a moment, both too scared to be the first who pulls away. "That's all?" he whispers after a moment. His eyes now remaining on her lips. Aloura swallows, but nods, not trusting her voice to speak. "You can't break it" she whispers after a moment, feeling an overwhelming urge to warn him about the consequences of breaking a pinkie promise. "Or you'll lose your pinkie." A ghost of a smile tugs at his lips as he nods gently, mentally noting to not break the promise. Because who would risk their pinkie. Elias smirked after a moment before gently pressing his lips onto Aloura's slightly ajar ones. "What was that for?" Aloura whispers as he pulls away. Elias grinned, "My way of sealing a promise" Aloura laughed a little. But Aloura doesn't believe in promises. ♡ ♡ ♡ #1 in sad #pp1 in Elias #2 in Young Adult #7 in love #12 in crime #15 in sadstory #16 in romance #25 in death

*RELEASE DATE OF APRIL 26TH, 2025 ON AMAZON* Mirabelle I've accomplished a lot in twenty years. After becoming a decorated Olympian at the age of seventeen, I continued my streak of overachieving by graduating from my parents' alma mater, Duke University, a year early. I scored the public relations internship of a lifetime with an NFL team based on my own merits, and not because my father was their quarterback his entire career. The only thing I haven't accomplished is falling in love. Actually-that's technically not the truth. I fell in love with Henry Price, my parents' best friends' son, years ago. Never in a million years did I imagine I'd have a chance at making him see me the same way, but when the opportunity arises for me to help Henry fix the PR disaster threatening to ruin his career by pretending to be his girlfriend, I dive in head first. Except, I forgot love can make you blind, and I didn't realize we were drowning until it was too late. Henry From the time I learned to throw a football, I knew I wanted to be the starting quarterback for the Panthers. I spent most of my rookie contract learning from my parents' best friend, the legendary Sebastian Walker, knowing I would spend my entire career trying to be half the player he was. I never imagined it would almost slip through my fingers, or that the lifeline to keeping it would come from his daughter, Mirabelle. I've known her my entire life, and because of that, I've never allowed myself to look at her the way I'm now being forced to as she helps me save my career by pretending to be my girlfriend. I try to keep my intrusive thoughts in check, until Mirabelle confides in me why her ex-boyfriend broke up with her, and I selfishly offer to help her become more confident in the bedroom. My entire life, I've viewed love as conditional, but Mirabelle Walker makes me want more for myself, until I'm reminded that love is as unpredictable as the ocean.
