"What's your name?" I asked nervously. "Now you want to know my name?" He teased. "Just forget it." I quickly said. "Greyson." He answered. "Greyson?" "Uh-hu." I can feel his eyes, watching me. Then i realised that i was only wearing his white shirt and underwear, no bra. And i didn't realised how sheer this shirt was, until now. "Stop looking at me!" I snap while quietly folding my arms in front of my chest. Trying to cover as much as i could His face suddenly changed. His eyes looked darker, or maybe i was just not thinking straight. "You don't have the right to say that to me. I own you, remember?" He said, sounded slightly irritated with my words. I narrowed my eyes, getting offended. "No one owns me! I am my own person. 500.000 dollar that your father spent on the auction doesn't mean anything to me!" I said angrily but still keeping myself calm. He smirked and bringing his face closer to mine and we were just inches away from each other. "You know what, i was just this close of breaking my words for not touching you last night when i saw you dressed like that, sleeping on my bed. What should i do with you now?" He slowly pulled on the collar of my shirt. I feel myself blushing from his words. I quickly looked down and pulled myself away from his reach. Note: There will be mature contents in this story. Chloe's p.o.v. All I want to do is go to Caines and finish what we started. I walked into the pack house and smelt him in the living room but his scent changed a bit. More Woodsy. I wrapped my arms around his waist from the back but did not expect what happened when he turned around. It wasn't Caine. I took in every detail from the little scar by his eyebrow to the gray eyes looking back at me. His dark brown hair almost black, pink wet lips, strong jaw line, muscles outlining his black t-shirts, and the mysterious grey captivating eyes. This definitely wasn't Caine. "What's going on?"I heard Caine's voice boom as I whirled around trying to get out of his grip but Dom's grip tightened.

The characters are highly complex and they exist in a world that values strength over compassion, only the strong survive. The life inside the pack mimics that of a real wolf pack with a strict hierarchy that is established through fighting and power. It is also comparable to a medieval court, the king holds his divine right to rule and the queen exists solely to please and support the king. Throw in scheming courtiers with the ability to change into wolves with sharp claws and fangs and you have the pack construct. As the characters are basically wolves housed in a human skin and the story is laced with animalistic references and traits displayed by all. We first meet the main characters Meela and Grey it is on a bloody battlefield where they recognize each other as their soul mate, and Grey takes Meela as tribute for his pack's help in her brother's fight. From this point on Meela belongs to Grey, and in this world, a highly spirited female with a propensity for impulsive actions matched to a dog stubborn, self-assured, dominant male is going to cause problems. We follow Meela in her journey to become the pack's Luna, a pack who are even more wolf than the one she comes from, and with a mate who has set the highest standards for her to reach as his Luna(female Alpha) and will accept nothing less than perfection. In the midst of all this and the struggle they face to form a personal and public relationship, there is one incident that will change them both and the fate of the pack completely. From that point on both Meela and Grey are inevitably changed and for them to be together, either one or both needs to change, but when you live in a world where you are taught that weakness is easily exploited and to admit defeat can potentially lead to your destruction.
