From Wattpad to your book shelf! My Brother's Best Friend is now published as Playmaker. Available to Order now. Falling in love never scared Maddie Davis until she fell for the one boy she swore to stay away from forever. Season 1 of My Brother's Best Friend ********* Maddie Davis has been in love with her brother's best friend, Cameron Holden, since she was in the sixth grade. They used to be best friends, too, until he got into high school and became a version of himself she didn't even recognize. Everyone said he was a shoo-in for the NFL, and he let it get to his head. Right before high school started, he worked out until he was built like a sculpture, he got rid of his braces, and suddenly the girls fell at his feet. But that was fine because her middle school crush faded. And besides, even if she did think he was hot, Cameron wasn't someone she could go for even if she wanted to. Unless, of course, she found herself wound up with him in a closet during a game of blind seven minutes -- a closet so tiny and secretive that she would finally be able to act on the feelings she's tried so desperately to hide. But what were the odds of that happening? Content warning: This story contains mature sexual content and themes of bullying, sexual assault, violence, and explicit language. They first met on a train. She just came out from retirement of being a hermit while he was traveling incognito. He was reading a book when she interrupted his concentration. "Do you want to know how fast I read?" The man looked up, his black eyes peered at her, an eyebrow was raised. How shameless can she be? But whatever, she needed to read that book. "I can finish it in thirty minutes." "So do I. If you stop talking to me," the man once again buried his head on the book. "I can give you a very detailed book review?" The man continued reading, treating her like an air. She pursed her lips, thinking how she can convince the man. "Giving up so soon? I thought you want to read this book?" The man threw her a glance, raising the book in front of her face, tempting her. "Okay. What do you want?" She braced herself for his outrageous answer. "Oh, it's nothing. I'm sure you can give it to me." She squared her shoulders, indicating him to proceed with his request. "Just a kiss," the man said, his dark eyes became darker. She almost fell from her seat when she heard the man's request. She looked at the man's lips unconsciously then back to the book. For the first time in history, Li Nuxie wanted both. -This is an original story and not a translation. Cover is from Canva.

"A rose for the lady," a voice said. I looked up to see hazel eyes looking down at me. A smirk plastered on that very familiar face. Callum Ross. My jaw dropped and every person in this room gasped. I composed myself and looked back down to his hand. He was holding a single rose. "Alright," I said, "who paid you?" ------------ The File is something Callum Ross takes up as a game. The File has the names of the girls he has already slept with and how long Callum has took to make them fall in love with him. It was all just a game to him. He lit his cigarette, I lit nothing. He drank alcohol, I drank water. He smirked, I smiled. He didn't love me, I didn't love him. He and I together wouldn't last a day. And then the game started... He said he found me intriguing, unique, and interesting because I didn't swoon over him. "You and me Grey, let's play a game. We'll date and in three months time I promise you will fall for me. When you fall in love with me between that time span, I win. If in any way you were to win I'll give up all the alcohol, cigarettes, and player ways." It was a game I wasn't willing to lose, but all games had accidents and consequences. It takes a broken heart to know how to break a heart.
