The conclusion of The Runner series. ================================== Half a year has passed since the fall of Babel. In that time, tales of the Runner have drifted from truth into legend. There are stories of a thief who toppled an empire, whispers about a hero who sacrificed everything to free us from the iron grip of a madwoman. They say that the Runner is broken. They say that she is fearless. They say that no enemy stands a chance against her unstoppable army of warriors. They say that she fights because her veins run red with rebellion, but I know better. She fights because she has nothing left to lose.

Clarity Ordain is referred to as an assassin by some of the werewolf packs. Being a female werewolf, a rouge, and on her way to becoming a national threat to the werewolf world, she's pretty pleased with where she stands. Though no one knows what she wants. She kills with a pattern and is after something big. Not her own power, pack, or territory, but something important. The only thing that can stand in her way in getting what she wants is the wolf that haunts her dreams. So, what happens when she meets him?

I was born into a very strong pack which had the beliefs of only the strong can survive and the weak will perish. Well I lived in my pack for the first two years of my life until it turns out I am blind. One small thing one big problem, for my pack that is. It wasn't a problem for me tho. Despite being blind in a way I am not blind. Well this is my story of how I became who I am today.(This is my first werewolf book so plz don't judge too harshly. I'm not your typical girl. I wasn't raised in a good family or in a normal way at all. I ran away from my family at the age of ten. They hated me because I was a girl and after my father beat my mom when they found out I was a girl my mom couldn't have anymore kids. My mother ignored me and my father beat me. So I left to live in the woods. They never searched for me. I know because I watched them for four months. They adopted a boy and called him Zaine. I stole almost two hundred dollars from them for food. I happened upon a bow for next to nothing with a bunch of arrows and started hunting food. I picked berries and mushrooms and even bought seeds and planted a little garden. There also fruit trees here as well so I've been set up for the past six years of my life. Until one fateful day that I found an injured wolf pup. That was the day my life changed for better or worse.

She just wanted to take a piss. She and Dakota had been drinking and laughing so much, she couldn't hold it in any longer. Taking a piss at the wrong place and time put her in deep shit. She's too drunk to even think about anything that is going on right now. They look at her like she's crazy when they notice how well she's taking everything. They think she's ditzy and stupid but that's only drunk Udria. Sober Udria is a whole other story. "You're something else"
