❝he's paralyzed and she's secretive, but, hey, they make it work.❞ - asher angel was a track and field star. always had been-but never will be again, after an incident left him paralyzed and wheel-chair bound from the waist down. enter annie leblanc, who has been stuck at charlize hill preparatory school for most of her adolescence, and even though she has her fair share of trauma and guilt, she manages to hide it under a façade of smiles and good grades. (plus she knows a little bit about asher.) but when asher comes to charlize hill, he's an all too eery reminder of the past for annie, and she pushes him away, but he's not willing to let her go. through a series of ups and downs, twists and turns, they learn to rewrite their twisted fairytale together.
