After the chaos of the Sports Festival my heart is still buzzing, but there's no time to breathe. It's finally our turn to step onto real streets, to train under real pros, to taste what hero work actually feels like beyond school walls.
My mentor doesn't give me a single moment of rest. Every mistake is caught, every hesitation burned out of me. And just when I start to think I can keep up, the city shifts. Real villains appear. Not school-level threats, not simulations. People who look at us and see targets, not students. Facing them shakes something in me I didn't know was fragile.
But the worst blow isn't mine. One of my closest friends gets caught in the crossfire of this new reality, and everything we thought we understood about becoming heroes twists in an instant. Training, pride, ambition... all of it feels different when someone you care about is the one who pays the price.
