My forehead wrinkled in confusion. “But why?” Carl made a sidelong glance as his eyes wandered somewhere in his right direction. He started laughing. It was the same feathery laugh that I heard moments ago. Then he turned to me and wore a beautiful smile in his lips. “Do you know how long I have waited for this opportunity to come just so I can spend this moment with you, under my yellow umbrella?”
