Camden is a trans boy in the late eighteenth century. He doesn't know how to deal with it or even how to come out, because things like that don't exist where he lives. So when he's approached by a woman who seems to know exactly what he's going through, he's more than just a bit confused. She offers him a scholarship to Quirks United, a boarding school for people like him. When he gets there, he realizes it's about more than just being queer. For him, it's about love, turmoil, time, and coping. Quirks United is exactly where he needed to be.
