I'd Like to think I was a good person, before it all began. I didn't cheat on tests, or steal. But throughout my entire life, I was treated if I were a monster. At the age of five, after several agonizing tests, I was diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder. But not even that title could describe just how strange I was. When another kid got hurt, I would cry. Whenever someone else was told a funny joke, I would laugh hysterically. People looked at me as if I were crazy- and for while I agreed with them. That was until I, Caddie Jones, was exiled to Nox Haven Academy, a school for truly special kids. Not the mentally ill, psychotic kind of special but the magical kind. Like witches, vampires, fairies and werewolves. Call me crazy if you want, you wouldn't be the first. But the stories are all true. The supernatural did exist and I was one of them. Life there was cool until suddenly, I was faced with two-faced witches, egotistical princes, hormone driven werewolves, and an army of evil warlocks who were threatening to destroy the world. ... Maybe Nox Haven was a school for psychos after all. ---------------------------------------------------------- Highest Rank: #2 in Paranormal 1st Place winner of The Night Shift's Killer Competition 4/10/16 Illustration by: Stephanie Pitino (www.ClairObscur.fr) (1st book in series)

*Book one in the Hell's Company series* Lucifer was the brightest angel in Heaven, But in service of God, he was condemned to darkness. After thousands of years, the darkness took root inside him. ~ Ammi is a flame no one can extinguish Forged from God's holy fire to combat his darkness. A gift made for Lucifer. ~ He clucked his tongue disparagingly, shaking his head, "Tell me your full name." I groaned, running a hand down my face. "Fine. But I'm not explaining it to you." His face told me that I would if he wanted me to, but I soldiered on. "My full first name is Amirykal. Happy?" I muttered. His reaction took me completely by surprise. He blinked slowly at first, processing, then his face split into a wide grin and he threw back his head and laughed uproariously. I was hit with a wave of arousal at the sound of it-it was rumbling and husky, heating me up at the core. "What's so funny?" I grumbled, sure he was laughing at my expense. He looked down, that gorgeous grin still on his chiseled face, showcasing his lovely white teeth. "Oh, Kitten. Your name, Amirykal, do you know its meaning?" He asked, his voice sensual and erotic as he spoke my name. "No-I was found with that name." I answered struggling to keep my voice even as he slowly approached, like a predator would his prey. "Well, Love, I'll tell you. Amirykal means 'gift', or, more exactly, 'a gift from God'." He purred as he got closer and closer, so there was barely a foot between us. "And why is that funny?" I had a very hard time focusing on the conversation at hand with him at this proximity, using that lovely tone. "Because, Amirykal, I am Lucifer. And God made you to be mine." *HIGHEST RANKS*: #1 in Paranormal #2 in Supernatural #7 in Werewolf* *Takes many liberties on Biblical stories and has graphic violence and adult content. Ametrine - A glowing jewel of an empire, resting on the western side of a continent that is split down the middle by a vast, impassable forest. Once with great power and wealth, Ametrine's light is slowly dying, as its nine courts ignore the needs of the country and bicker amongst themselves about land, commerce, politics, and their individual rights to the Garnet Throne; the seat of power that has remained untouched for the past twenty-two years. With the country sinking, all eyes begin to turn in fear towards the barbaric tribes in the South, and Ametrine's jealous cousins to the North. Amidst all of this lives Lenora Sparks, the second daughter of the late Lord Gabriel Sparks, and possibly the most headstrong, wilful, and fiercely stubborn young girl in the Emerald Court. Stuck in a life with no freedom, Lenora's plans to escape her prison and live like her adventurous father seem utterly impossible. Until the adventure and danger come to her. Literally overnight, Lenora is taken from her home and wakes up next to an unfamiliar sea, on the side of the forest where her people have not tread in over 300 years. Lost and alone, Lenora joins forces with two terrifying allies whom are also trying to get home, though the bond they make may very well end Lenora's life. That is, if the curious soldiers with the playing cards stitched to their uniforms and a crazed circus ring leader don't get to her first. The unfamiliar will become familiar and the home she once knew will become more and more dangerous, as Lenora's journey across the Eastern Side unearths the truth about herself, her family, and her country - a truth that will change the faces of who she can trust forever. Back in Ametrine, a formidable foe has returned to take back what rightfully belongs to them. When Ametrine can no longer stand, friendly faces will show their dark side, enemy will become ally, and not even the dead will be able to hold back the secrets that could very well destroy the kingdom.
