A detective is sent to investigate a cult in Hope Country, Montana that has gone rogue for a few months. Rumors are increasing that people are trying to leave, their loved ones join the cult do not want to leave, and worse children are being snatched from their parents. How is it even possible for them to gain such a large foothold in such a small period of time? A Marshall has not even been sent out while people are going missing due to there being little to no evidence. They are coming here like it's a tourist attraction but she still remembers the beauty of Henbane River, Holland Valley, and Whitetail Mountains. Maybe the cult will turn out to not be as bad as the reports suggest. It even could be possible that it has been exaggerated to get a rise out of the public. Nancy kept encouraging her to talk to the father first but something tells the detective that if she does she may not come back out alive. While in Holland Valley Sierra comes across someone from her past and becomes torn between her friends, career, and her morals. If she does find something will she choose to report it or just sweep it under the rug like it never happened?
