Hermione Scott is a 19 year old university drop out, recovering from a bout of depression, when her father persudes her to stop hiding in her room and help out a friend of his. She finds herself involved with members of a Christian sect, initially as a nanny, but soon as a member. She liked the faithful, ordered community she finds herself in, and she loves the family who take her in, despite their rather extreme attitude to life. It is like the real world does not exist, and she is happy for the first time that she can remember. This story, in 4 parts, follows Hermione as she joins the church, finds love, a family and a whole world of trouble in the quiet Surrey village of Meadvale.

It took place after Harry Potter finished his first year at Hogwarts. He asked Dumbledore not to make him come back to the Dursleys but didn't tell him how bad the abuse was. Dumbledore just thought that it would be a chance to create a better bond between Severus and Harry. Therefore, he sent Harry home with Severus and during the stay, Severus discovered some horrible facts about Harry's home life. Contains: Bedwetting, nappy, pull-ups, physical, mental, verbal, emotional and sexual abuse ( not very bad but still, there are a few mentions of those) . If you don't like it, don't read it.
