It's an assignment I had to do for my fiction class. It was supposed to be based off of the beginning of Tim O'Brien's The Things They Carried. It's a bit of characterization loosely based off of the personalities of some people on the St. Benedict's Prep track team that includes me by the way. Vote and Comment

Every high school has a bad boy right? Wrong! Ours doesn't. Instead it has me, the worst bad girl there is. Asking people to define high school bad boys they usually end up describing them using the words hot, sexy, players, stupid and "screw you once that's it'" kind of guys. Our school lacks guys with guts, that's why I am the school biggest bad girl. I have all the balls they lack. The one thing I am known for other than sleeping around is that I am the biggest fighter in our school. But I have a truly well-kept secret. I am actually a princess, the heir to the throne. But for me to be able to get the crown I have to find my match, my other half who will be king along by my side.

He was still asleep. I slide my hand slowly into his pants and pulled it out being careful not to wake him. Before he could stir and notice I put it into my mouth and started to suck. Damn this tasted good, no wonder he kept it to himself. The sour citrus flavors of lemon and lime danced on my tongue as I kept sucking on the lollipop he didn't want to let me have. His eyes opened quickly surprising me, making me choke slightly on my own saliva. "Babe" he said softly. "If you really wanted the lollipop that much you should have just asked instead on taking it from my pocket". I let my head hang low, still with the lollipop in my mouth. "I know. I’m sorry, I just really wanted it and you were asleep so I took it" I could feel tears slowly forming in my eyes. "Hey don’t cry darling. It’s okay, it was for you anyway” he pulled me into his arms and hugged me tight to his chest "thank you" I said softly ----------------------------------------- Do you think your life would be normal if you 'half brother' who you don't know turns out to be someone you know and actually hate? would you life be normal if your 'sister' ends up dating him as well? your best friend in in-love with you and your mother is an alcoholic druggy who lives with an abusive husband, could life get any less confusing and complicated for Aroha or not?
