Lucy's childhood friends are all a year older than her, but that didn't stopped their friendship. They would always play childish games. But that all changed when Lucy turned 10, her mother died and all her childhood friends started to avoid and ignore her. Because of this, Lucy's father decided to leave Magnolia, Lucy's birthtown and lived in Soleria. She started a new life, forgetting her past. But an unexpected fieldtrip to Magnolia will change everything. Will Lucy forgive her childhood friends?

This is about Lucy Heartfillia and Natsu Dragneel. Lucy is a princess, who ran away from home and is on the run from her palace guards and her Father Jude. She ends up in a town with a mysterious, haunted mansion located in it. She is intrigued and decides to enter this mansion. Natsu is part of a half dragon, half human race called the Dragon Slayers. He is raised by his parents with his friends in a mansion with provides safety for their kind. His friends which differ among the supernatural races, accompany him in his house.
