*revisiting/rewriting since Dec 2025 * Hiro Hamada is your average modern day genius. Before 15 years old, the youngest Hamada brother has proven his intelligence, graduating at 13, and getting accepted into the esteem San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, with the help from his older brother Tadashi. The night of the showcase arrives, and after Hiro gets accepted, a mysterious fire is spread, and Tadashi runs in to save his teacher, Robert Callaghan, resulting in his untimely death. Hiro and his friends form a superhero team called Big Hero 6, and defeats many supervillains, including Tadashi's supposed killer. A year has passed since the incident, and Hiro starts experiencing weird dreams with Tadashi, whom Hiro believes is dead all this time. Tadashi tells him that he's actually alive, and needs Hiro's help to escape the clutches of yet another supervillain. Skeptical-yet slightly hopeful, Hiro sets out with the rest of Big Hero 6-along with a new friend-to find his beloved brother, all the while, a masked villain is still out there, waiting to strike and defeat the superhero team once and for all.
